After 12 years I am no longer treating at the Olive Tree in Crawley, an independent charity supporting anyone that has been diagnosed with cancer or is a close relative/friend of someone that has been diagnosed with cancer.
I feel deeply grateful to anyone that has been supporting me in my practice: from Marilyn, the best manager I’ve worked with, to the always so helpful volunteers at the front desk, Aileen, Ann, Mereith, Sonja (some more surely, but my memory fails me) and the administrators, Lisa and Jackie. The lightness and good humour that these people were bringing to my days at the Olive Tree were of incredible help both personally and professionally.
A very special thanks to all the ones that trusted me to help them.
A book that anyone going through cancer may find very useful is
“Radical Remission – Surviving Cancer Against All Odds” by Kelly A. Turner, PhD.
An interesting book about some mental mechanisms involved in healing is
“Anything can be healed” by Martin Brofman.
